Whose assuming anything? We know what the "ancient people" did (kind of a misnomer, islamism is a newborn culture relative to most), and we know why they did it and what magic book says about it. I'm not assuming anything of them, let alone the worst. I;m simply noting that this is what they did, and that what they did was advised to them in the book they took to be the word of god..as you do now.
None of these things are open questions. The above is a known quantity. The open question..what I can't figure out for the life of me, is why any of you feel compelled to engage in slavery apologism in general, sex slavery apologism in specific......... now...........today.
Do you not know better...and if you do, why didn't allah? If we "keep reflecting" will we suddenly come to the conclusion that this was just and good in -any- century, for -any- people-, for -any- reason? Did you?
