So, it's my daughters 2nd b-day. The house is covered in decorations. We're doing story-time and my 4 month old son starts mouthing out "Love you". This is his first attempt at speaking. I'm fairly proud of this because my 3 year olds first word was "cookie" (leveraged in an uncomfortable public setting against a person with skin slightly different than hers, and without any implication of malice or knowledge of the words use in racial slurs).....and my 2 year old's first was "fuck". So, improvement. I'm starting to get the hang of raising children. (Or my son has learned early that a silver tongue gets you what you want, either way, I'm proud)
