We just discussed this in my philosophy class. It stemmed from the question as to whether we change or not. Am I the same person I was years or even minutes ago? Not really, Im older, more knowledgable etc. But I am still me. This, according to my philosophy teacher, signified a constant presence a "soul" as he says. Personally I dont agree, simply because its not observable and consciousness is dependent upon the brain right? And that ceases to function at death. Im interested to see everyone elses answers.
If I die and god is real, im so screwed.
