men and women with tattoos, hot or not?

Hello everyone,

I have been wondering for quite some time what the verdict is for most people with regards to tattoos. Do the majority here find people with tattoos more/less attractive than without? If you do like tattoos, how many would be overdoing it?

My step dad was a tattoo artist and he had an in home parlor that I grew up helping clean and sterilize. I've seen more tattoos that I can shake a stick at. I've seen the good and the bad. My step dad was covered in them. Full sleeves on both arms, chest, legs back, and hands. He did get laser on his hands so that he could wear long sleeves and no one would know he had them. I got my first tattoo when I was 17 and it is a full length fairy on a moon it goes down my thigh and can only be seen in it's entirety if I take my pants off or hike up my skirt. Apparently when I showed Tony (now husband, then long time friend) in high school he went home and jacked off lol My ex husband hated it so I can't really say if it's hot or not. I also have two much smaller tattoos and plan on getting another. I prefer no throat, face, hand tattoos on guys but I love most other tattoos as long as they are good quality. For girls I like sleeves (not just one because one sleeve drives me crazy and looks unbalanced) and HATE what I call tramp stamps. These are the girls that have little tattoos scattered over their body that looks like a little girl with her cute sticker collection got ahold of them. Usually the spot under the neck on the back, on the curve of the breast, lower back, and right above the panty line are the usual culprits.

I got one with my wife's name for our 25th anniversary, so she finds it pretty hot.

Lol I'm not superstitious but I swear the ONE thing I have superstitious tendencies with are tattoos of your significant other. Every couple that I've known that has one has broken up. It has taken a decade or two sometimes but I've never seen a relationship to last until death did them part (lol) I hope you are the exception.
