men and women with tattoos, hot or not?

Tattoos are disgusting....to me...just a gut reaction. For some reason when I find out someone has a tattoo I start to think less of them. Not consciously judging or anything...maybe just disappointed because it seems like such a lack of judgment and respect for one's body.

Not fond of pierced ears either.

I thought about my tattoos for a very long time before I got them. If I still loved the image after a year I got the tattoo. My thigh tattoo covers my hip, into my waist on my hip bone, then back onto my ass a bit, and down my thigh. It's been with me for over 11 years. I was 105lbs when I got it and I went through my pregnancy at 158lbs and I still love it and think it looks good. There was no lack of respect for my body in this decision. If anything I love my body enough to adorn it with pretty things.

If you like them then enjoy them. Obviously you're not concerned about what anyone else thinks. I just have a different sense of aesthetics and have a visceral reaction. Personally, I don't care too much about what other people think about my appearance either. Then again I don't try make my appearance a stand-out feature. I try to stay well-groomed and dress professionally to match the setting. IMHO people who make the effort to overtly express their individuality by means of their outward appearance shouldn't be too surprised that not everyone shares their opinion about the propriety of such displays.
