If you have an argument, just put it forward. You're not going to find "takers" for baiting here.
Not quite, I just wasn't in a position to type something meaningful last night/morning Sambucca tends to do that, I'm soooo sorry.
No I thought of this question myself obviously, especially as my mother is a christian and a big believer in spirits and going through my thoughts I realised one thing, it is impossible for us to have a soul.
Through my learning about cells from that program I've been shamelessly touting, I realised that a soul represents a person/individual.
But what that program made me realise is that a human being is not one person, we are the product of a combination of millions of cells and other microscopic organisms all acting in unison to form a complete working organism.
The mind also is a product of the brain, there is no you so to speak, the mind is simply the brain making use of all the information you receive from your senses and to make the most use of it, it needs to make decisions as fast as possible, that means producing the effect of having one captain of the ship so to speak.
So if the mind is an effect of the brain for a survival tool it is not essentially you it is a portrayed effect of you, it's a decision making tool.
So we are not an individual we are made up of microscopic organisms hence why if we have a soul where or which cell would it reside in? none or all?
We don't have a soul.
Does anyone have any other alternative thoughts or thoughts on my conclusions .... think it's right/wrong?
