The dress code is lax as well. More and more people are realizing that giving workers greater freedoms does not at all impact the quality of their work, and there's no reason to judge a book by its cover. If somebody can do their job well, that's all that really matters. My workplace here in DC is very traditional, especially since we're an association that routinely works with people on Capitol Hill. But there are so many tech start-ups, think tanks, and other types of workplaces dominated by 20-somethings and 30-somethings that really don't care. Here here
To be honest, I can only think of 2 or 3 of my friends who DON'T have any tattoos. I would love to have one, but because of my low immune system there is a high chance of infection and I don't really want to risk it right now.

Quote:I don't think anyone is saying that. Obviously you can have ink on your body and still portray a clean cut image. But in order to do that, you need to cover that shit up.Outdated and prejudicial
Quote:Correct, it is an opinion. It is an opinion which is based on the fact that many employers have policies which forbid visible tattoos. Even more have policies which require any visible tattoos to be non-offensive. So yeah, depending on the circumstances, if you want to portray a clean cut image, you need to cover that shit up. And that's a fact Jack.A trend that's dying out and will be dead in at least a generation
