-and it doesn't even follow the if. This is one of those "less than wrong" moments, imo.
-If- there is a true religion. Perhaps it's the true religion of a deity with no interest in teaching society shit, who enjoys the never ending gag reel of our societal and national mistakes, is revulsed by drawing us any nearer to itself, and intentionally corrupted human religions out of sheer boredom.
