That is my opinion and it is entirely valid as it applies to me and me only. There is no need nor point in debating it. You can disagree with it if you like. You can get all butt hurt because someone feels differently than you if that's what you want to do. But you're not going to prove me wrong because there is nothing to prove when it comes to subjective opinions. I think they make people look less intelligent. Depending on their placement and content, I think they also make people look a bit narcissistic and possibly insecure. In four words, they're not for me.
If they're for you, great. Tattoo your fucking grocery list on your forehead for all I care. I don't like them, I'm not going to like them. Actually, now that we're discussing it, I think I'll have to take that statement back. As a hiring manager, I have to say I do appreciate them in that they let me know a bit more about what kind of applicant I'm looking at right up front. In that respect, I think they're great.
Your opinion is as valid as anyone's because you're right, it's entirely subjective.
Personally I find some tattoos really sexy on some women in some places.
One more thing:

Is that four words or is that five? Does a contraction of two words count as one word or two? Does "They're" = two words because it = they are, or does the contraction count as one word in itself? I've always wondered that! I fret over it!
People say something like I have two words for you: Let's rock. And I just think... let's= let us so is that one word or two?
Is a contraction two words into one...? Or is it two words expressed as one, but it's still actually two?
