As noted above, the logical possibilities seem to be:
- they don't think minority applicants are qualified, or
- qualified minorities don't value the SPLC and so aren't applying

Yep. There are many organizations which have nothing to do with civil rights, yet are concerned about diversity.
You'd think an organization supposedly devoted to minority rights would have been a leader on that.
