There are a number of plausible hypotheses for the origin of the universe that can be found under 'Physical Cosmology' on Wikipedia. We don't have the means of testing those hypotheses, but they conform to the laws of physics as we know them and have math that works. And for starters, it is entirely unclear that the universe hasn't existed eternally in some form. The Big Bang was a change of state of the early, hot, dense universe into an expanding one. How long that hot dense state had 'been there' and if it ever expanded before is currently unknowable.
How did God come to exist? How did God create the universe?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
