Of the two parts, known outcomes are more troubling because the issue for free will in that case is metaphysically neutral...though, both present obstacles to the notion. That formulation is pretty rough, combined. It suggests that the outcome of some "choice" may be, in reality....an acausal random outcome. So, not is any sense caused by being freely chosen....not that you have a choice anyway...because the outcome is also known. It erodes the claim of free will and it's contingencies.
