I don't know whether or not porn prevents people from acting out their fantasies in real life. It seems, that porn helps preventing many people from having any real sex at all. But I haven't seen any studies on that subject and I'm curious what do you base your opinion on. Is it just your personal view, based on the feeling that porn is "icky"?
