Actually.... as predicted, you don't know what you are talking about. Which is no surprise. What the Big Bang Theory suggests is:
http://scienceline.org/2006/08/ask-snyder-bang/
Quote:Once upon a time, 14 billion years ago, a cosmic explosion released an immense amount of heat and pressure. All the particles and energy in our universe, once confined to a space about the size of a dime, raced away from one another at tremendous speeds.
So, not nothing.... but rather "everything."
For "nothing" we have to consult your Big Book of Holy Horseshit.
Quote:In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Gen 1:1
Now that is poofing everything into existence from "nothing." Except your god, of course, who was floating around for billions of years just doing nothing it seems.
Actually, the conditions at or right after the Big Bang is so extreme that even rigorously tested laws of physics completely break down. How much can one depend on such seat of pants “common sense” deduced from limited non-rigorous observations sloppily conducted under run-of-the-mill conditions as “nothing comes from nothing”?
