We aren’t making any arguments.  You are making a positive argument (a conscious, intelligent mind created life on earth) and we are pointing out the flaws in that argument. If your argument for ID is, “I can’t imagine how it could have  happened naturally,” then your whole argument is grounded in a logical fallacy.

It's not that I can't imagine how it happened naturally, it's that it couldn't have happened naturally.

You have no idea what science is.  You think science is nothing more than another artifact of theism’s oldest and most revered practice of making shit up with conviction and inventing words to make them sound weighty.   All you know is science seem to work and impress a lot of people, so you see nothing wrong misapplying the vocabulary of science to makeup shit from your religion.

I've studied more science than you think.  Do you realize how much science is involved in mechanical engineering studies and application?

Yes, I do.  

I majored in biology for a year and half, then double majored in physics and aeronautical engineering. I also have a masters in mechanical engineering.

In engineering, one primarily receives what relevant fields of science has found.  Really not much about the deeper underpinning of the scientific method and how science is actually done, especially not developments in the philosophy of science, especially not the process of discovery of things that is fundamental to understanding but not immediately susceptible to application by engineering is needed to pass all the tests, include the specifically science classes required in the typical curriculum.

If your exposure to science is having received relevemt laws and relations it has discovered in the course of engineering study, then it is perhaps not too surprising you could think what you received from your bible obsession and those of like obsession is much the same as science.
