It is simple. Is slavery, owning other people as property, morally right or morally wrong? Most everyone would answer that it is morally wrong. Except the bible and its followers. The bible not only endorses it but provides rules for how to do it. 

You, I hope, would reject owning people as property straight out. However, you have rejected your own morality in favour of a shabby book which instructs you to think that it is moral to own slaves and beat them to within an inch of their lives.

I heard one story of a high school kid who read a book from Michael Shermer I believe.  It was found under his bed after he shot himself in the head after completing the book.  He was a young high school kid so he did not have the intelligence to argue back against the atheist arguments in the book and he took his own life over it.  What a shame when some basic knowledge of DNA could have cleared this all up for him and possibly saved his life.

Oh really? Anecdotes do not equal evidence. How about something we do have evidence for? Andrea Yates. killed her 5 children to fast track them into your heaven.
