No one said that 'blind undirected process' was involved. That doesn't mean to say that it was directed. Things can self organise. Snow flakes are the classic example. Neither designed nor a product of pure chance. So assuming you are also asserting that self-organisation cannot produce the 'information bearing properties' in DNA, which you are if you believe in ID then first point is:
Assertions without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
So you would need to provide a mechanism stopping self organisation from creating a system that processes and contains information. You would also need to define what information is and also provide evidence of this mechanism.
Although what you have asserted is a valid scientific hypothesis because it is falsifiable. We could theoretically create a self organising process that does encode information in DNA.
This is a work in progress Development of an artificial cell, from self organization to computation and self-reproduction
If we can do this (and we eventually will if we haven't done it already) then your statement is false.
In the meantime, we can create other self-organising systems that do process and store information. This is what I am working on right now with the intention of publishing in a peer reviewed conference next year. I am working to determine exactly which point information processing starts in a complex self organised system and why.
