I always try to be honest.  It is the atheist who have only their own standard of morals per individual.  That leads to things like what happened in Nazi Germany.

Where a Roman Catholic in good standing convinced a nation composed mostly of Lutherans and Catholics to exterminate their Jews?

Well, remember that the whole persecution of the Jews came about because of Christianity. The Jews did, after all, nail up their saviour.

But the persecution always confuses me. Jesus was there, supposedly, to be sacrificed. The Jews simply did what god wanted them to do.

You'd think Christians would be applauding them for doing their part.
