The devil was the first during the war in heaven.  Adam was the first man to sin.  God decides the punishment for sin.

If God decides the penalty it is just.  For instance, picking up sticks, after God said not to work.  God knew that man in his heart was disobeying him so killed him.  God can take our lives at his will as He has given us life.  The slavery had a time limit on it and it was not to be harsh.  The incest when it happened was only to multiply the land.  No one is designed to be homosexual.  It goes against the design.  That person should repent and pray and become straight.  God wiped out a certain people because they were wicked and He would at times give that land to His chosen people.

Jesus died and rose 3 days later.  The Son of God, co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit of the Godhead, suffered and died to atone for our sins as the chosen lamb.  He is the Messiah.  Yeshua HaMashiach is the living Son of God!

The world still moves on as more souls are created on the earth to as many as God wills.  The end will come and that will be the end of sin.  The Lord will return in His full glory and power and bring up His people and destroy the wicked.  Slavery was common in the times of the OT.  God gave rules for un-harsh slavery.  Slavery continues today in the world and sometimes it is harsh.  God wiped out people in big groups when they were exceedingly wicked.
