I'm quite happy to face my creator. I don't expect the first question to be, "Why didn't you kiss my ass your whole life and believe a load of fairy tales about talking donkeys and zombie Jews?" That would be some crazy creator.

But if that's the question, I'm quite prepared to answer it. "I saw no point, for either me or you, to worship. I would have been quite happy to interact with you, had you extended such a gesture. You chose not to, which is fine. I didn't believe those stories because they were ridiculous. I cared about the very real people and animals around me, and I didn't need any religion to tell me how to do that. I figured you could take care of yourself, or at the very least, needed no help from me."

If he decides to annihilate me, then good. I'd prefer that to going on to yet more existence.

Even existence in paradise, as Jesus proclaimed.

If he really has read the bible, which I doubt, he must have edited out the bits he didn't like as he went along. God must be really disappointed that atheists know his book better than his own followers.

Of course, maybe God needs help from feeble men to explain what he really meant, instead of just writing that or communicating directly with people.

I've read the Bible cover to cover by both reading it and listening to audible.  I've studied it pretty extensively.  I even went to four years of Catholic high school with mandatory religion classes each semester.  I study it on my own all the time.  If you don't like my interpretations that is fine.  I can reference other sources for each of my interpretations so I am not the only one that believes in a particular interpretation.

This guy is so pathetic. He can't even answer questions honestly, yet he wants to accuse everyone else here of lying and putting a spin on things.

I've seen some pretty disingenuous people on here before, but this guy takes the cake on that with his twisted, illogical thinking. Every post he makes just gets worse.

Again, I can reference other commentaries for the interpretations I believe so I am not the only one that feels a certain way about a particular interpretation.

DNA contains information.  Information always comes from an intelligence.  DNA information is designed.

Can you give an example of something that doesn't contain information?

DNA information is a highly sophisticated code which could have only come from an intelligence.
