It's amazing how much revelation from god, supposedly delivered by the one spirit needs explaining in excruciating twisting dishonest detail.
Bottom line is christians don't follow what the bible says anyway, though that would be bad enough, but they cover the obvious evils by following you tube, books and other explanations, and then have the cheek to say they have the holy spirit revealing the word to them, despite the many differences.
and old earth creationist are a perfect example of this, their whole doctrine evolves round what the bible does NOT say.. so much for it being the word of god !. They are the grey folks, the ultimate fence sitters, neither warm nor cold for the supposed word of god, twisters, a semblance of a logical approach but really the ultimate purveyor of a 'god of the gaps' argument.
Put simply there was nowhere else for evil to come from, god being the creator of all things.
Something created perfect and good does not have the capacity to be anything else.
