The evidence (in this thread) reveals that poster CDF47 presents rather infantile mere assertions, strawmen, and other informal logical fallacies, along with factual inaccuracies/misrepresentations/lies and personal opinions/beliefs in virtually every post he has made (over 800 posts), all within a few weeks.

This leads me to conclude with high probability that:

1)  Poster CDF47 was and continues to be indoctrinated and infected with a particular virulent strain of the Christian God Virus.

2)  Poster CDF47's curiosity, intellectual honesty and critical thinking processes have been severely damaged and atrophied by this indoctrination.

3)  Poster CDF47's broad and deep willful ignorance will remain so but only by choice and/or addiction.

4)  Poster CDF47 is quite young and may have time to heal from the psychological, emotional and intellectual harm he has experienced.

Just not in any way you can demonstrate.  I realize you believe this claim (unless you are a POE, which is a slight possibility).  However, your mere belief does not necessarily comport with reality.  You mere belief is not evidence of your claim.

My search of the Bible reveals the term "willful ignorance" does not appear in the seven different versions I searched.  Perhaps you would be so kind as to provide actual empirical evidence of your claim.  You know how to do this (but perhaps you do not).  Please provide the chapter, verse and translation/version of the Bible in which the term "willful ignorance" appears.

Most atheists I know are quite learned in the Bible and related Jewish and Christian religious dogma and apologetics.  They are anything but willfully ignorant, at least about those topics.  The fundamental difference, of course, between atheists and theists is that the atheists do not believe what the theists believe.  It's a matter of belief, or lack thereof, and has nothing to do with ignorance, willful or otherwise.

Well then, because I use Bayesian probability analysis, I must now change my earlier tentative conclusions because of this new information you have provided.  I therefore modify my conclusion #4 from above as follows:

From:

To:

"4)  Poster CDF is approaching middle age.  The effect of his prior indoctrination is so severe that the likelihood of him recovering from the psychological, emotional and intellectual harm he has experienced is quite remote."

I think that is more accurate.  Do you feel better now?
