Yet another topic worthy of its own thread used to change the subject of the thread you started. It's possible, in the sense that any unfalsifiable proposition that isn't inherently contradictory could conceivably be true. Like it's possible we're all in the Matrix.
So here's the thing. If there is a Creator, it's not the one you're worshiping. It's not all powerful, all knowing, and all good; because those attributes contradict each other and the world we find ourselves in, such a being is impossible. It's not the God of Abraham, because the things the God of Abraham did, like flooding the whole world up to the mountaintops and stopping the sun in the sky...those things didn't happen. And Abraham himself was almost certainly fictional.
If there is a Creator, this is what we can know about it: it can create at least one universe like the one we find ourselves in. That's it. It's as likely to be a Lovecraftian horror that generates universe so it can feed on their entropy or a kid who accidentally sat on the 'run universe' button of a console as something even remotely like the Creator you were raised to believe in.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
