MK, it's funny you should mention the giraffe.  It has one spectacular example of crappy design, a laryngeal nerve that takes a ridiculous detour to get to where it's going.

If that's the work of a "designer," I'm not impressed.

There is probably an unknown reason for the detour like all the other fallacy design issues.  Plus, we are intended to be flawed, decay, and die.  That is part of the fall.

You figure 'there is probably an unknown reason' is a sensible response? How do you know there's 'probably' a good reason? You even covered your ass with the fallen world excuse.
