I was onboard a ship this morning, chatting with the Captain while his holds were inspected.
"I don't understand," he said, "why are you guys raising tariffs on your friends? Doesn't your president unders--"
"No, Captain. He doesn't understand. That's the problem. It's always the problem with this guy."
"This is really bad, if you go forward with them," he said.
"I know, Captain. I know."
This particular vessel finished discharging a cargo of aluminum T-bars and ingots the other day and is going to load rice for export. I doubt there will be quite as many charters for aluminum cargoes going to the U.S. if our Buffoon-in-Chief continues to follow his alleged genius business instincts. Moron.
