If a design isn't necessary to explain an omniscient all-powerful being, it certainly can't be necessary to explain our limited cosmos.

Not true. Why do you say that?

Because you can't say the universe is too amazing to not be designed out of one side of your mouth and say Allah is so amazing that it's ridiculous to say he must be designed out of the other side, without contradicting yourself.

It's the inherent contradiction of claiming that only design can account for something that's complex, if that's true, you have to apply the same reasoning to the Creator. If you admit there is an exception to the rule (the Creator), there can be other exceptions to the rule, else it's special pleading. In other words, if the Creator did not have to be designed, then it is not true that amazing/complex things always have to be designed.

So, true. That's why I said that.
