This is becoming harder and harder to believe with every post.  You understand that, right?  Either you;re taking liberties with the truth..or you;re painting a picture of your mother as a parent in dereliction of duty.

Meh. I think his mother's attitude is fairly common. It's easy to think people no longer need medication once they start responding to treatment. I wouldn't hold that against her.
