Part of the problem, I think, with criticism of Israel in the West is a fear of being labelled anti-semitic.  Frequently criticism of Israel has led to others immediately jumping on the "nazi" or "Jew hater" bandwagon and attempting to denigrate the person to shut them up.

It has happened to me.  Once to the point where I emailed the Simon Weisenthal Centre asking them if they considered criticism of Israel to be anti-semitic (and included exactly what I had said).

To their credit they got back to me fairly promptly that what I said was not construed as anti-semitic in any way.

But you will still get Israel apologists screaming racism at anything they perceive as criticism of their favourite nation.  And many people in the West, politicians in particular, avoid criticism for that reason.

And remember, every time there has been a vote to criticise Israel or impose sanctions, the US plays it's magical  VETO card.

Israel got the whole weight of the British & American media backing its formation during & after WW2, after all it was the strong corner for Britian, France & Russia in the Sykes-Picot treaty, and then it became the American bunker in the Middle East. It's the tip of the spear now for any American plan to harvest the Middle East off its resources, Trump's "ultimate deal" is just an example of that.

So I understand the amount of brainwashing the normal western individual have went through regarding "Israel". I mean those people -Israelies- were just mainly European citizens before WW2. The media picked up the religious tale to justify the "Jewish presence in Palestine", something I still can't understand is how the almost totally non-religious west bought the narrative that Zionism spread with the help of western media? That media pressure of course, is backed by the VETO card, the apologists, and the military force.

The beginning of any solution for anyone simply has to be the end of this nonsense about not recognizing israels right to exist...or screaming death to israel while popularizing and normalizing intifada.

If we judge by your logic, then why don't we give ISIS their caliphate? and why don't the U.S listen to them and withdraw from Afghanistan ? Killing and commit "ethnic cleansing" makes you a convict deserving execution; not a "legal part of a negotiation".

I agree on one thing though: screaming "death to Israel" is wrong. We should say "fuck their racist state", expose their crimes, and make sure peace invades instead of guns and death.

Jews and Muslims CAN BOTH LIVE TOGETHER, but with the absence of xenophobe killers like the racist Jewish state called Israel, or the Sunni Islamic state called "Saudi Arabia", or the Shiite Islamic state called "Iran".
