The first stage of the North Korean missile that could actually hit the US uses Ukrainian liquid fueled rocket engines that were originally designed for Soviet ICBM of the same purpose.  The upper stage can ultimately trace its design ancestry to the Scud medium range ballistic missile.    The mobile launcher vehicle for that missile is based on a Chinese multi-axle heavy cross-country truck which was inturn developed from the chassis of china’s own mobile missile launcher.  

The mobile launcher for shorter range missiles that could hit Guam and hawaii are actual Soviet mobile missile launchers allegedly demilitarized by Ukraine before being sold to North Korea and then remilitarized there.

So a whole crowd of people have a vested interest in ensuring that North Korea has a division of ICBMs.  Why would Kim doublecross them and trust anything that lying Trump says?

Kim will never give those up. He is not double crossing those who helped him get them.
