Where we get lost is in this constant comparing back and forth. Whether or not saying Barron should get molested is better, worse, or equal to Trump’s border separations is irrelevant to the point that it’s a horrible thing to say.
How about Barron? Did we forget about him?
He has plenty of secret service protecting him, I am quite sure he is safe.
At best you can call Fonda's comments in poor taste, but you CANNOT treat his "How would you like it if someone kidnapped your kid" intent as being the same as THE ACTUAL REAL ACTIONS of Trump.
THE TWO ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING THE SAME......
Trump has money, and power and security, poor people escaping crime and poverty and war DO NOT have the same benefit. Trump has been bullying people who do not have the power or money to defend themselves.
Stop staring at my finger when I am pointing to the orange moon.
Trump is a vile disgusting human. He is taking our country politically down a very dark road, one that if other politicians see his formula as a winning tactic, will lead to even worse.
Brian, sometimes I wonder if you even read the posts you respond to with such vehemence. Why do you insist on comparing the two? This is not a competition to see which side can be the most reprehensible. Trump already wins at that anyway. Trump’s border seperation policy is awful. Saying a child should be locked up with pedophiles is awful. They’re both awful. Why is it so hard to just acknowledge that two awful things can simultaneously exist without pitting them against each other? What does that accomplish?
As far as Barron is concerned, I’m not worried for his physical safety, but he is twelve years old, and I’m sure he follows social media. Is it fair that a young boy should have to read something like that about himself? If you can dehumanize a child simply on the fact that he’s a Trump, you’re no better than he is.
