I have a pretty rigid moral sense, it;s not difficult for me to classify that kind of statement as bad..but its not entirely unheard of to do some bad thing for the greater good.  In this case..and in context, the bad thing was saying mean words...and the greater good would have been the cessation of kidnappings and the rape of a shadow class with no legal recourse.

And do you think that Fonda’s lunatic Twitter comment was the miracle cure to the problem of mass kidnappings at the border?  Or do you think he made a vile and embarrassing caricature of the left that did nothing but generate more name calling and attention seeking at the expense of a twelve year old boy? Do honestly think Trump and Melania read that tweet and thought, “he has a point.”
