So much arguing going on that has nothing to do with Barron.  Weird, since the comment was directed toward him, specifically.

It was good to see you forum mothers involved, though. Disagree and argue on anything you like, but attack another mother's child, look out for the Mama Bears. Partisanship goes out the window. Strong union between mothers.

Yeah, this one was a no-brainer for me.  I am sincerely shocked by how many people are defending it.  I don’t understand this, “worse things are happening to innocent children because of Trump, therefore fuck Trump’s innocent child.  We don’t care about that child.”  Could you imagine if, say, Rosanne Barr had said something similar about one of the Obama girls, for any reason at all?  We (the left) would be having a holy shit fit, and reject any attempt at justifying it, regardless of context. Moral high ground, yada yada. Taking babies away from their parents unnecessarily sickens me. This border shit has kept me up at night for several weeks.  But the Fonda business is just more harm added to an already enormous pile, IMO.  I don’t really care if it’s only one grain of sand added to a whole mountain.  Don’t fucking hurt kids, and don’t make excuses for people who do.
