At best you can call Fonda's comments in poor taste, but you CANNOT treat his "How would you like it if someone kidnapped your kid" intent as being the same as THE ACTUAL REAL ACTIONS of Trump.
THE TWO ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING THE SAME......
Trump has money, and power and security, poor people escaping crime and poverty and war DO NOT have the same benefit. Trump has been bullying people who do not have the power or money to defend themselves.
Stop staring at my finger when I am pointing to the orange moon.
Trump is a vile disgusting human. He is taking our country politically down a very dark road, one that if other politicians see his formula as a winning tactic, will lead to even worse.
Then YOU are not better than Trump. You are just jealous. And I mean YOU, not the other people that make valid criticism of Trump. YOU just fuel his rethoric and validate it.
It is evident in this thread, that people just blindly sheep partisan politics. You became so blinded by Trump's rethoric, that you can do nothing but became what he is.
But then I am not US nor even a citizen of that place on earth. Word to the wise, when you spend your time fighting monsters, you became a monster yourself.
My theory is that almost everybody is a bad person. Some people just use 'moral highground' as cover for being shitty people. But at their core, everyone is pretty much the same. Just awful people looking for someone to tear down.
The event that really stuck with me, was Anne Hathaway from a couple years ago. Everyone just started talking about hating her because they didn't like her Oscar acceptance speech, or something nonsensical. Just maliciousness for fun. And it wasn't partisan. The 'good guys' were all the way in on it, many happily leading the charge. That's what humans are. Just a bunch of hateful animals looking for something to attack.
