As far as I'm concerned, any necessary destruction of life is a tragedy. Yes, I do recognize that there may be some such necessity.
I personally, have no use for anyone who would take pleasure in such a thing. I regard such a person as a defective unit and unworthy of any rights.

I would never impose death on another unless I knew or could reasonably infer that that death would prevent the death of innocents. But evil people should be locked-up forever. Not as revenge but in making sure they never do evil on another again.
