Good point. IMO, it must then be asked who gets to dictate what is aesthetically pleasing/displeasing? IMO, pettiness and intolerance of those who are different, would be some of the guiding "virtues" under such dictators.
Obviously those who are privileged get to choose. I'm a woman and Kit's gay so if we disagree we need to ask a straight white man to sort it out for us.
