This is Britain. Ridiculous nanny-state shit is prone to happen there (and be mocked).

One wonders if there will be a follow up story.

I find it hard to believe she does not know the history of the doll, and inciting racism in my book is wrong, she prolly hates her neighbor and did it to piss them off, who knows, I want to find out though.Non sequitor. Who gets to judge whose views are toxic? You? Me? Whatever majority is in power? A minority?
"Judging" someone's opinions is a very sticky area. I hope you're willing to trod down the road paved with good intentions.

We know the earth is not, same with I know the christian bible is not reality. Racists need to educate themselves and realize how ignorant racism is.
You've labeled her a racist, and ascribed quite a bit to her. You better back that up with some facts. Or are your own bigotries merely speaking?

These two statements are mutually exclusive. Unless you're a hypocrite. Because the latter enshrines a group's right to be not offended while the first statement would be more in agreement with the phrase "You don't have the right to be not offended".
Which is it going to be? Do some people have the right "to be not offended" or not? How does that work out?

The woman arrested was the member of a far right racist political party. Her action was apparently to make a political statement and provoke*,not economic. I see a difference.
*Was she not first told of the offence she was causing and asked to remove the doll?
Wait, so if you sell something, you get special privileges? Or is it that if you're a member of a recognized political party, you can be imprisoned for possessing particular views? Is this guilt-by-association circle jerk day or what?
