As in Dungeons & Dragons type games. You assume the role of a character, have stats written down on a character sheet, with a back story. The games master leads the game by describing the scene etc. You then tell them what you want to do, referring to your character sheet and rolling dice if necessary.
Right... cool... that does sound fun. I never got into Dungeons and Dragons or similar choose your own adventure type books as a kid, but they have nonetheless always had a pleasant, almost mystical, appeal to me (probably cos I like stats
). Anyway is this an online thing, or a group thing in real life?
