That would be great. I grew up listening to English/Irish descended Appalachian hillbillies singing folk songs from the old country like Barbara Allen and Pretty Saro. The movie Songcatcher was a big hit among mom's family because it contained many songs they grew singing. I'm curious if your family was singing the same songs in Missouri.
We moved to Indiana before I started school, so I only saw her on vacations when I was in school. By the time I got back here she wasn't singing much, "a lot of work, ain't it?"
