Our lives are riddled with these instances where we try too hard to convince someone else that something should be done differently.
Except that logic should absolutely show reason over routine.
Routine will always be the destruction, for it shows no willingness toward change that respects truth over comfort.
If you are claiming that I am wrong; I just ask why, and to give reason for how you came to this conclusion. Which doesn’t seem that difficult or unreasonable.
