And I think there's a bug in that process anyway, since it sometimes leaves one of the posts in the multiquote list selected even after posting the post with the quotes in, when it should be completely clearing that list. So I've had the same problem several times in the past as what seems to be happening for him; of it dragging around a single old post of mine because it didn't properly clear the multiquote list after posting.emjay, thank you so very much for defending me here, I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what Losty is referring to. I AM NOT QUOTING THINGS I'M NOT EVEN RESPONDING TO; given my practically non-existent understanding of BB code, I cannot even consistently correctly quote what I am, in fact, responding to ! I am going to take Jormungandr's advice and go into Source Mode, I hope. Negatio
What's she's saying is if you look at the post you've just posted... #406... the only person you're actually replying to is me, but at the top you'll see you're still quoting an old post, in this case one replying to Pandamonium and Losty. Any time it says 'author Wrote:' at the top of a quote, it will alert that user with a message saying 'user x quoted you in thread y'... and that message shows in your list of alerts. So in this case you only really want to alert me, because I'm the one you're addressing, but since it's still dragging along that old post, it will also be alerting Pandamonium and Losty, which will get and probably already is very annoying to them if they're not actually being addressed.
Are you ever pressing the button marked "Quote", which is to the right of the "Reply" button?
