He reads Genesis in such a way as to allow for the possibility of an extremely ancient creation event (billions of years ago), followed by a long period in which evolution may (or may not) have taken place. He has often written about precursors of modern, "soul-endowed" humans who were genetically human but lacked souls themselves, and he considers the story of the garden as continuing the creation account by focusing exclusively on the fate of humans at a particular period of history, when "Adam and Eve" began the time of god-breathed, ensouled people. For Drich, there is a sharp division in focus between Gen. chapters 1 and 2, and this frequently results in threads getting sidetracked for pages because he and his interlocutors are talking past one another.
Of course, Drich is free to correct my characterization if it is wrong.
holy crap someone IS listening.. for the most part.
I've been working with some christian types to help me simplify it.
genesis 1 God the father's 7 day literal creation. important note... man made in the image of God happens day 6, God the father told THEM to go out and fill the planet. Genesis 2 starts out by seperating it self, it starts day 3.5 and the creator here is Jehovah/yhwh/Jesus He created Adam and breaths a soul into him. The father did not do this with day 6 man. Then Jesus creates the garden and everything in it and put adam in charge of the garden. everything you read from 2 to the end of the exodus of the garden is garden narrative only.
Adam and Eve were immortal
There was no time line between the end of the creation of the garden and the fall of man which is gen 3. So between gen 2 and gen 3 all of evolution could have taken place. then 6000 years ago (how far the genealogies take us back, and subsequently why the YEC's believe in the 6000 year old earth/because they think the fall happened right after the 7 day creation, which is foolish because there is NOTHING to indicate otherwise) Adam and eve were expelled from the garden into man's world where there were cities and people who had evolved from day 6 forward.
This answers all of the paradoxes you people like to bring up as well. Who did Adam's children marry, where did the city of nod come from, why is there so much bio diversity if we all came from adam and eve. ect...
God gave this to me in pieces over a 10 or 15 min session of literal pictures/visions. (out of sequence) I have been able to refine it over time.
Adam's descendants have souls 6th day man's people did not. they did have fully functional minds, spirits and fully capable every other way. they were meant as breeding stock for Adam's descendants, but according to Noah's story corrupt angels mixed in making titans (Which honestly I think is where we get so many false god accounts) then God uses the flood to take out everything but the descendants of Adam, leaving only people with souls to inhabit the earth.
The flood was not just about killing mean men, but hybrids and embodied demons. (An evil unlike anything this world has ever known since)

Isn't that a far cry from fakers claim of people dying all the time? more people died in the last hurricane by almost double. why make such a dubious claim?
It wasn't my claim. Yes, it's a far cry from "mountains" of deaths, but it is pretty fucking stupid to handle poisonous snakes because an old book tells you that you can.
the book does not give instructions on how to do it.. stupid people make up their own rituals that have nothing to do with what is written. IT says nothing about not usings safe snake handling tools, or gloves or even a snare pole. is it stupid to handle a snake with the proper tools? the bible does not say they can not be used. it just says people can pick up poisonous snakes. Fools who persume to know the mind of God are the ones who think God is going to cast a spell on them or the snake... no where does it say that and they deserve to be bitten and die for putting those words in God's mouth.
Can i pickup a poisonous snake? I have with a snare pole and gloves. I also picked one up with out any of that, but I had removed it's head with a shovel first. again the bible doesn't say you can't do that. People fill in their own blanks and pretend it is the word of God. this is the exact opposite of what I do and try and teach you all from doing here.
