As a fan of football, and ABBA, even I cant argue with this.

How is grabbing a non ball carrier by the jersey any different than grabbing and holding an arm or leg? I am not arguing that it is legal as per current rules, but I don't see how that is different.
Because these guys are monsters and if you didn't allow offensive players to get a grip on them in some capacity your QB would be a pancake by the 2nd quarter. And I'm sorry I meant to say "as long as your hands stay within your shoulder pads", meaning your not reaching out and grabbing.
I have seen plenty of good protection of a QB without grabbing a jersey.
A better argument would be to allow the other types of holds of arms and legs if stopping speed is the case. Otherwise why call one and not the other because they both have the same affect, slowing down progress.
Again, I am not arguing current rules, just that I don't see a difference. Ultimately I don't care, I am not a player or an owner. I am simply arguing the semantics and logic.
All I know right now is that the Skins suck huge donkey balls.
