He helped found the Center for Science and Culture of the Discovery Institute, which is the main organization behind the intelligent design movement. Before joining the DI, Meyer was a professor at Whitworth College.

Thanks, I had no idea who that was, and I couldn't give a shit to look him up. Many a theist has been faced with challenging dilemmas by exploring real science. Maybe our rock lover will learn a thing or two.

Maybe he'll be inspired to get a degree in biology or some other science field as a result of this little exercise.
