Okay, I think I see.. n player... eg 2 player... refers to local players.

So assuming we needed plus, would I then be able to select you (as someone on my friends list) to play as one option OR as a second option have it just randomly assign some player also wanting to play the same game from some queue... ie the same way fortnite works when setting up matches (ie just wait until you get 100 people in a room together wanting to play and then start the next match)?

I've not experimented enough with Plus multiplayer enough to understand precisely how it works. I was playing Mass Effect: Andromeda, went into multiplayer mode, and no one was available so I was thrust in there alone where I died. lol

Guess you'll have to find more popular games like... I dunno... fortnite
