I am being asked religious questions.  I am not preaching.

Then answer the questions without the preaching.

Christianity has no flood story. The myth of a large flood was common in the ancient Near East. The one in the Bible was copied from the Gilgamesh Epic. 
There fact there are flood stories in no way means they had any way of knowing anything other than their locality. 
There is NO evidence of a massive flood. None.There is no evidence most of humanity EVER was wiped out. The genetic diversity observed today took hundreds of thousands of years to develop, and remains intact.

The fact you keep repeating this childish nonsense WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE demonstrates you have nothing to back up your wishy-washy changing statements about a flood. 
Repeating a lie does not make a lie true. There are all sorts of commonalities in ancients myths. They remain myths.

There was a flood by God.  The magnitude of such a flood, only He knows.  It was a massive flood as described in Scripture.

Your god is so ineffectual he couldn't flood his own bathroom.
He can't know anything since he is imaginary.
