In the forest I see a tree, a product of nature.
That tree is cut down using designed techniques for safely falling a tree. Cuts are made with the intention of having the tree fall in a certain direction.
The laws of nature are observed and gravity is understood in this process. Things don't always go as designed and accidents do happen, but on the whole our intention of cutting down the tree happens.
The fallen tree lands near another fallen tree that was taken down by a storm the previous week.
We can look at the broken and splintered base of the naturally fallen tree compared to the base of the cut tree we just fell. Our tree has chainsaw marks and flat angled cuts.
The tree is taken to a saw mill where another designer cuts it into raw planks
Those planks are sent to another designer that takes those planks and turns them into boards.
The boards are sold to another designer who uses them to make a picture frame.
The frame is bought by another designer that carves intricate patterns into the frame and stains it.
Another designer buys the frame and fits it for glass and backing.
The glass also had it's share of designers.
A painter buys the frame and places his painting within it. A painting he designed using some natural berries as the base of his paints.
The finished works was made possible by many designers who crafted each part using products of nature.
Trees existed long before the designers ever did.
The sand the glass was made from existed long before the designers did.
The heavy elements in the designers own bodies existed billions of years before the designers did.
Nature creates the material.
Natural laws allows that material to take shape.
Stars are born through gravity.
Planets form through the same process.
Chemistry happens on a planet.
Natural forces allow that chemistry to mix and form complex compounds.
Natural weather and lightning provide energy.
Naturally replicating molecules from the chemistry on the planet form.
Over time, those molecules form cells and cells change over a vast period of time.
Given enough time, plants & trees form, then animals, vertebrates, tetrapods, mammals, placental mammals, hooved mammals, rodents, primates, monkeys, apes, great apes, humans, modern humans.
It took billions of years of nature to create all of those designers that used natural materials in their designs to make that painting which looks so good in that natural wood frame.

Insanity - Doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result
