Good for you. Not questioning your intent, I am suggesting to you based on the BEHAVIOR of the GOP nationally since Reagan, you might consider that you are being conned.
If a red state ends up taking expansion, it is because the GOP lies to voters takes Dems ideas and ends up gutting something else to make it look like they did something. Same shit the GOP did when Obama modeled the ACA after Mitt Romney's plan.
If you are voting GOP in your state do know that the national platform is a party of GOP that is currently LYING to voters saying they will protect preexisting conditions after trying for 8 years to destroy the ACA and currently have a LAWSUIT in the courts to gut the protections for preexisting conditions.
The GOP tactic has been the same for decades, just like the old Daffy Duck cartoon where he pits the beagle against Foghorn. Create a needless problem that does not have to exist, then offer themselves up as a solution they have no intent on fixing.
