In any event, I wonder when theists will figure out that personal testimony is the opposite of compelling for atheists? I don't care what any theist claims to have experienced. I want irrefutable evidence that a god creature exists. And neither anecdotes of being filled with the holy spirit (giggity) nor assertions/question begging from personal incredulity fueled by scientific ignorance fit the bill.
Everena: I don't expect you to take my word for it. I wouldn't take your word for it. You have to have the experienes yourself. 47% of the United States has had a moving spiritual experience. I think we all do at different times in our lives. And eventually you will have exeriences of your own that prove it to you beyond any doubt. That's the great thing about being on this side of the debate. Some day you will all know we were right. And you will be glad we were right.
