You know creatures can adapt, and then their descendants can adapt some more, right?
Like your ancesters adapted to the need to be smarter than Iron Age wishthinkers, which is why you have the printed and electronic mediums in which to read Iron Age creationist literature. You, unfortunately freed from threat of extinction due to stupidity, then adapted to the desire to be dumber than Iron Age wishthinkers, which is why you believed them.
But unlike you, other creatures are able to adapt in one step forward, and other step forward manner, not one step forward and two step back manner like you.
