I live near St. Louis's primary airport, Lambert Field*. When Boss Lady was going to work with a broken leg I had to drop her off at 3 PM and pick her up at 1:30 AM. My route at night took me across the glide path for Lambert. One night I saw a perfect "triangular UFO", apparently hovering motionless over the city. As the angle changed I could see the airplane's landing lights had fooled the eye.
Now, Belleville, Illinois, isn't far away. It was there that the first "triangular UFO" was reported. People said that they had observed it for up to one half hour. Quite simply they were lying.
